Biswashankari Shellac Industries is in this business for three generations. Almost 50 years back Mr. B.N. Paul, at his age of 30 has started this venture at Balarampur, West Bengal, the major hub of shellac production in INDIA. Now, his sons and grandsons are holding the fort and expanding the business network both in domestic as well as international market.

SHELLAC : Shellac is only resin of animal origin and therefore enjoys some special characteristics not found in natural resin from vegetable kingdom.
For thousands of years India is aware of this natures unique gift to man.
